FOX EPOXYFUGA FX142 is a solvent-free, epoxy resin-based grout and adhesive designed for demanding applications requiring superior hygiene and chemical resistance.
It is suitable for use with ceramic tiles, marble, granite, and other natural stone coverings. Its excellent resistance to chemicals and bacteria, combined with its hygienic properties and ease of application, makes it ideal for environments where cleanliness and durability are essential.

Application Procedure
1. Surface Preparation
- When used over ceramic tile adhesives, allow the adhesive to fully cure before grouting.
- Ceramic surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from dust or contaminants.
2. Mixing
FOX EPOXYFUGA FX142 is supplied as a two-component system.
Mixing ratio (by weight):
Component A / Component B = 100 / 6
Mix using a mechanical mixer operating at 400–600 rpm for a minimum of 3 minutes until a homogeneous consistency is achieved.
Standard Packaging Set
- Component A: 5.0 kg Epoxy Resin
- Component B: 0.3 kg Hardener
3. Application
- Fill the grout joints using a rubber grout float or a suitable grout gun.
- Remove excess material immediately.
- Ensure deep joints are completely filled to prevent settlement.
- Allow the material to rest for approximately 15–30 minutes.
- Perform the final cleaning using a suitable sponge and warm water with detergent.
- Replace dirty sponges frequently during cleaning.
4. Cleaning of Tools
Clean all tools and equipment immediately after application using warm water and detergent.
Once cured, the material can only be removed mechanically.
5. Removal of Epoxy Film
The remaining epoxy film should be cleaned approximately 4–10 hours after application using a suitable sponge and warm detergent solution.
For easier removal, up to 10% alcohol may be added to the cleaning water.
