Surface Preparation
- Surfaces must be clean and free from dust, oil, paint, detergents, old silicone, and any bond-breaking contaminants.
- Existing cured silicone must be completely removed mechanically.
- Primers are generally not required on non-porous surfaces such as ceramic tiles, glass, and glazed ceramics; however, some painted or synthetic surfaces may require priming.
- Masking tape may be used to define application boundaries.
Application Instructions
- Cut the cartridge nozzle appropriately and place it into the caulking gun.
- Apply the silicone continuously along the joint.
- Smooth the surface using a suitable finishing tool.
- Remove masking tape within 5 minutes.
- Excess material should be cleaned with alcohol or solvent within 5 minutes.
- Recommended joint width: 5–20 mm.
- Do not apply below +5°C or above +35°C.
Application Limitations
- Not suitable for aquariums, mirror bonding, or glazed surface bonding applications.
- Acetic acid released during curing makes it unsuitable for electronic components and sensitive metals.
- Not recommended for porous substrates such as concrete, marble, and natural stone.
- Not paintable.
- Not intended for structural bonding applications.
