FİXA SS 930X is a one-component (acetoxy), moisture-curing high-performance silicone sealant. It is specifically developed for joint sealing and filling applications in both interior and exterior environments. It provides reliable solutions for residential and commercial projects alike.

Surface Preparation

• The substrate must be free from dust, oil, paint, silicone residues, detergents, and any substances that may impair adhesion.
• Old silicone residues must be completely removed mechanically.
• The application area may be masked with masking tape for neat joint lines.
• Primer is generally not required on non-porous surfaces such as ceramic tiles, glass, and glazed ceramics; however, some painted or synthetic surfaces may require a primer.

Application Instructions

• Cut the cartridge tip appropriately and place it into a caulking gun.
• Cut the nozzle at a 45° angle according to the desired joint width.
• Apply the silicone continuously along the joint.
• Tool the surface using a suitable finishing tool.
• Remove masking tape within 5 minutes after application.
• Excess material can be cleaned with alcohol or solvent within the first 5 minutes.

• 5–20 mm

• Curing rate: 3 mm / 24 hours
• Skin formation time: 20 ± 5 minutes

Application Limitations

• Do not apply below +5°C or above +35°C.
• Not suitable for aquariums, mirror bonding, or glazed surface bonding applications.
• Acetic acid vapors are released during curing; therefore, it should not be used on electronic components or sensitive metal surfaces.
• Not recommended for porous substrates such as concrete, marble, and natural stone.
• Not suitable for completely enclosed areas, as moisture is required for curing.
• Not paintable after curing.
• Not intended for structural glazing or structural bonding applications.
