FİXA AQUALATEX® is a synthetic rubber-based, multi-purpose emulsion developed to improve the waterproofing properties, adhesion, and flexibility of cement-based mortars. It delivers high performance in professional applications ranging from concrete repairs and exterior plasters to screed reinforcement and bonding bridges between old and new concrete.

Surface Preparation

Mortar Preparation

• Dry Mix: Mix cement and sand thoroughly.
• Liquid Mix: Dilute AQUALATEX with water according to the recommended ratio.
• Combination: Add the dry mix into the liquid mixture and blend using a low-speed mixer until homogeneous.
• No additional additives: Do not add extra water or AQUALATEX after mixing, as this may reduce performance.

Application Information

• Can be used by adding it to the mixing water or by applying it directly onto the surface.
• Compatible with Portland cement (CEM I).
• When used as a bonding bridge, apply a mixture of AQUALATEX and cement with a brush.
• If plaster or screed will be applied on top, it should be placed before the bonding coat fully dries.
• Should not be used together with excessive lime or air-entraining additives.
