KYK Mantotherm H202 is a high-performance organic thermal insulation plaster based on polymer emulsion, single-component formulation, and featuring 15 Joule impact resistance. Its ready-to-use formula provides practical application without the need for mixing. Thanks to its flexible structure, it offers superior protection against impacts, thermal stresses, and external weather conditions. It is used as a surface plaster on EPS, XPS, platin, and mineral wool insulation boards.

Application Information
Surface Preparation

The surface must be clean, dry, solid, and free from dust.

Uneven surfaces should be repaired with MegaRepair T201 at least 24 hours before application.

The surface must be free from oil, dirt, and cement residues.
Application Steps
Mixing:
The product is ready to use. Mix with a low-speed mixer for approximately 1 minute before application.
First Coat Application:
Apply evenly with a stainless-steel trowel.
Reinforcement Mesh Application:
Apply Mantotherm Reinforcement Mesh K914 onto the first coat while it is fresh. Mesh overlaps should be at least 10 cm.
Second Coat Application:
Apply the second coat after embedding the reinforcement mesh.
Final Coat:
KYK decorative coatings or paints can be applied as a final finish if desired.
