KYK MegaSıva Fiber Reinforced H105 is a cement-based, single-component, fiber-reinforced fine plaster. Thanks to its chemical additives and enhanced adhesion properties, it provides a surface resistant to cracking and shrinkage. It creates a smooth, strong, and paint-ready surface before final coating applications.

Application Instructions

Surface Preparation

The surface must be clean, dry, sound, and free from oil, dirt, dust, and loose particles.

Primer Application:

Aerated Concrete:
MegaFilm A201

Exposed Concrete:
MegaFilm BB A204 (minimum 3 hours drying time)

Mixing Preparation

Mix with a low-speed mixer until a homogeneous, lump-free consistency is obtained. Allow the mixture to rest for 3–4 minutes, then remix for another 1–2 minutes before application.

Application

Apply with a steel trowel in a thickness of 2–7 mm. Level the surface with a straight edge. After the surface releases excess water, perform final finishing with a float and complete smoothing using a damp sponge.

Curing and Protection

• Full drying time is minimum 2 days.
• For improved durability, the surface should be moistened periodically for 7 days after application.
• Protect the applied surface from rain for 24 hours.

Conditions Where Application Should Be Avoided

Do not apply on:

• Frozen surfaces or surfaces with frost risk
• Surfaces exposed to excessive wind or direct sunlight
• Material exceeding its pot life

Do not add extra water or any additional materials into the mortar.
