Surface Preparation
Before application:
- The surface must be clean, dry, sound, and free from dust.
- Surface defects deeper than 1 cm should be repaired 6–8 hours before application using MegaRepair I T101, MegaRepair K T102, or when required, T103/T104 repair products.
- The surface should be moistened if necessary.
Recommended Primers for Improved Adhesion:
Concrete surfaces:
- MegaFilm A201 primer
- MegaFilm BB A204 primer
Aerated concrete surfaces:
- MegaFilm A201 primer should be applied and allowed to dry.
Application Method
- The prepared mortar is applied manually with a steel trowel at a thickness of 2–7 mm.
- A finishing trowel should be used to achieve a smooth surface.
- After application, the surface becomes ready for painting, coating, or decorative plaster.
- Suitable for manual application only; not recommended for machine application.
Mixing Ratio and Application Times
| Description | Value |
| Water Ratio | 20–25% (7–8.75 L water per 35 kg bag) |
| Pot Life | Maximum 1 hour |
| Surface Finishing Time | Maximum 30 minutes |
| Full Drying Time | Minimum 2 days |
The product should be mixed with a low-speed mixer (400 rpm) until a homogeneous, lump-free consistency is achieved. After resting for 3–4 minutes, remix for another 1–2 minutes before application.
Application Recommendations
- The plaster surface should be periodically moistened during the first 7 days after application.
- In hot weather conditions, prepare the mixture using cold water.
- Do not apply on gypsum-based surfaces.
- For enhanced performance, MegaLatex K201 may be added to the mixture.
- Avoid application under strong wind, direct sunlight, or rainy conditions.
- Do not apply where there is a risk of frost.
