Application Instructions
Surface Preparation
- The substrate must be clean, dry, sound, and free from dust.
- Remove oil, grease, laitance, and any contaminants that may reduce adhesion.
- On rough concrete or mechanically hardened surfaces, apply MegaFilm BB A204 Primer.
- On cement-based substrates, use MegaFilm A201 or MegaFilm A901, depending on substrate absorbency.
- Allow the primer to dry for 3–4 hours before application.
Mixing and Application
- Mix one 25 kg bag with 6.0–6.5 liters of clean water (24–26%).
- Blend using a low-speed mixer (approximately 400 rpm) for 3–4 minutes.
- Let the mixture rest for 1–2 minutes, then remix briefly.
- Pour onto the prepared substrate and allow the material to self-level.
- Adjust the thickness (1–5 mm) if necessary using a smoothing trowel.
- Use a spiked roller to eliminate trapped air.
- Apply the mixed material within 30 minutes.
Drying & Service Times
| Stage | Time |
| Pot Life | 30 minutes |
| Working Time | 30 minutes |
| Ready for Foot Traffic | Minimum 24 hours |
| PVC or Parquet Installation | Minimum 24 hours |
Values are based on laboratory conditions at 23 ±2°C and 50 ±5% relative humidity.
Application Recommendations
- Mix with clean, cool water.
- Protect freshly applied surfaces from direct sunlight, rain, and strong wind.
- Do not apply where freezing conditions are expected within the first 24 hours.
- Do not add cement, lime, gypsum, or any foreign materials.
- Prevent rapid moisture loss and air movement during curing.
- For large areas, divide the floor into approximately 4 × 4 m sections to minimize shrinkage cracking.
Coverage
| Thickness | Approximate Consumption |
| 1 mm | 2.0–2.1 kg/m² |
| 3 mm | Approx. 6.3 kg/m² |
| 5 mm | Approx. 10.5 kg/m² |
Consumption may vary depending on substrate absorbency and site conditions.
