KYK Megaİzo Lastik 5 S202 | Single-Component Elastic Waterproofing Material

Product Description

KYK Megaİzo Lastik 5 S202 is a single-component, ready-to-use waterproofing material based on elastomeric polymers. Thanks to its flexible structure, it adapts to surface movements and cracks while creating a seamless waterproofing layer.

It offers a wide range of applications, from wet areas to terraces and sloped roofs. It can be safely applied on horizontal and vertical surfaces in both indoor and outdoor environments. It is generally preferred as a waterproofing layer before final coating applications.

Application Areas

  • Wet areas such as bathrooms, kitchens and balconies
  • Terraces and sloped roofs (under-coating application)
  • Screed and concrete surfaces (with suitable primer)

Recommended Primers:

  • For cement-based screeds: MegaFilm A901 or MegaFilm İzo Epo A501
  • For concrete surfaces: MegaFilm A901, MegaFilm İzo Epo A501 or MegaFilm BB A204

Key Features and Advantages

  • Crack bridging performance ≥ 0.75 mm
  • Elongation at break above 100%
  • Creates a seamless and continuous waterproofing layer
  • High adhesion strength
  • Easy application thanks to its ready-to-use formulation
  • Solvent-free and environmentally friendly

Application Method

  • The product is ready to use. Before application, it can be mixed with a low-speed mixer until a homogeneous consistency is achieved.
  • Apply at least 2 coats. Each coat should be applied perpendicular to the previous coat.
  • Application temperature: between +5°C and +35°C.
  • Under low-temperature conditions (+5°C to +15°C) or high relative humidity conditions (above 60%), at least 3 coats should be applied to achieve the required dry film thickness.
  • For ceramic applications, C2, S1 or S2 class tile adhesives should be preferred.
