KYK Megaİzo S201 is a professional two-component waterproofing system consisting of an elastomeric polymer-based liquid component and a mineral-filled powder component. Thanks to its UV-resistant structure, fast setting capability and high elasticity, it can be applied both as an under-tile waterproofing layer and as an exposed topcoat.

With its short curing time and strong adhesion performance, it provides long-lasting protection for terrace roofs, structures exposed to intensive water contact and industrial applications.

Surface Preparation

• The surface must be clean, dry, sound and free from dust.

• Gaps around drains should be filled with MegaTamir Grout T105/T107.
• Megaİzo PU Mastic HM S492 should be used for expansion joints.

Application Method

• 15 kg powder component and 15.5 kg liquid component should be mixed completely.
• A low-speed mixer (approximately 400 rpm) should be used.
• After obtaining a homogeneous mixture, allow it to rest for 3–4 minutes and then remix for 1–2 minutes before application.
• Apply at least two coats, with each coat applied perpendicular to the previous one.
• The waiting time between coats is approximately 4 hours.
