Sika®-1 Waterproofing Admixture | Liquid Water Barrier for Mortar and Concrete

Dosage Information

Standard mixing ratio:

Sika®-1 : Water = 1 : 10

This corresponds to approximately 3% of the binder weight.

For applications where sand moisture content is high, the dosage can be increased up to:

• 1 : 8
• 1 : 6

A trial mixture is recommended before application to determine the optimum dosage.

Application Instructions

• Shake the container well before use.
• Slowly dilute Sika®-1 into the mixing water.
• Mix thoroughly and evenly into the concrete or mortar.
• Follow standard concrete placement and curing procedures.
• If required, it can be used together with other Sika products; preliminary compatibility testing is recommended.
