Suitable Substrates

Surface Preparation

  • The substrate must be clean, sound, and level.
  • The surface should be dampened before application.
  • In hot and windy weather, the substrate should be saturated with water prior to application.

Application Conditions

  • Ambient temperature: +5°C to +30°C
  • Do not apply in extremely hot, windy, or highly humid conditions.
  • Do not apply on frozen surfaces or surfaces at risk of freezing within 24 hours.

Application Procedure

Mixing

  • Mix 25 kg of Webermin Deko Optima with 6–6.5 liters of clean water.
  • Blend using a trowel or low-speed mixer until a homogeneous consistency is achieved.
  • Allow the mixture to rest for 5 minutes, then remix before application.

Application

  • Spread evenly using a stainless steel trowel.
  • Recommended application thickness: 1.5 mm (adjusted according to the largest aggregate size).
  • Create the decorative texture using circular movements with a plastic trowel while the material is still wet.

Drying and Painting

  • Pot life: 3–4 hours
  • Minimum waiting time before painting: 7 days
  • The coating should not be left as the final finish and must be painted with a silicone-based exterior facade paint.
