Webermin 200 | Mineral Exterior Coating

Webermin 200 – Mineral Exterior Coating

Webermin 200 is a decorative mineral-based exterior coating reinforced with fibers to provide enhanced resistance against environmental conditions. Its breathable structure, natural texture, long-lasting performance, and compatibility with external thermal insulation systems make it a reliable finishing coat for a wide range of building projects.

What Is Webermin 200?

Technically, Webermin 200 is a:

  • Cement-based coating
  • Fiber-reinforced formulation
  • Decorative exterior finishing material

It is manufactured in compliance with TS 7847 standards and carries the G Mark certification. The product is also classified under Public Works Unit Price No. 04.476/A, making it a trusted solution for exterior façade applications.

Key Advantages

  • High water vapor permeability allows surfaces to breathe
  • Fiber reinforcement improves resistance to outdoor weather conditions
  • Resistant to water and frost
  • Non-combustible for enhanced safety
  • Creates a natural and decorative appearance
  • Easy to apply
  • Can be painted with exterior façade paints after curing

Applications

Webermin 200 is used as a decorative finishing coat for:

  • Exterior façades of all types of buildings
  • External thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS)

Suitable Substrates

  • Cement-based renders
  • Fair-faced concrete surfaces treated with weber.tec R, RK, or RM
  • Rendered aerated concrete (AAC) surfaces

For other substrate types, technical consultation is recommended before application.

Surface Preparation

Before application:

  • The surface must be clean, sound, and even.
  • Dust, dirt, and loose particles must be completely removed.
  • The substrate should be dampened before application.
  • In hot or windy weather conditions, the surface should be thoroughly saturated with water beforehand.

Application Conditions

  • Ambient temperature: +5°C to +30°C
  • Do not apply in extremely hot, humid, windy conditions or under direct sunlight.
  • Do not apply on frozen surfaces or surfaces at risk of freezing.

Application Instructions

  1. Mix 25 kg of Webermin 200 with approximately 7.25–7.75 liters of clean water.
  2. Blend using a low-speed mixer or trowel until a homogeneous consistency is achieved.
  3. Allow the mixture to rest for 5 minutes.
  4. Remix briefly before use.
  5. Apply the mortar evenly with a stainless steel trowel.
  6. Create the desired texture using circular movements with a plastic float.
  7. Texture formation must be completed before the material begins to dry.

Consumption

  • Average consumption: 2.8–3.0 kg/m²

Warnings and Recommendations

  • Always follow the specified water ratio and mixing times.
  • Do not reuse material that has started to set.
  • Avoid application under direct sunlight.
  • On thermal insulation systems, dark colors should only be used decoratively and on limited areas.
  • Webermin 200 should not be left as the final exposed finish.
  • After curing, it should be painted with a silicone-enhanced exterior façade paint.
  • Wait at least 7 days before painting.
  • Do not apply on horizontal or low-slope surfaces.
  • Do not apply directly onto weak renders, brick surfaces, or untreated aerated concrete blocks.

  • Pallet quantity: 64 bags (1,600 kg)
  • Shelf life: 12 months when stored unopened in a cool, dry environment
  • Protect from freezing conditions

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Which surfaces can Webermin 200 be applied to?

It can be applied to cement-based renders, properly prepared fair-faced concrete surfaces, rendered aerated concrete substrates, and exterior insulation systems.

Can the mineral coating be painted?

Yes. Once fully cured, it can be painted with silicone-enhanced exterior façade paints.

What is the application thickness?

The standard application thickness is 2 mm.

When should the texture be created?

The texture must be formed while the material is still wet and workable.

Can dark colors be used?

Yes, but on thermal insulation systems, dark colors should only be used for decorative purposes and in limited areas to minimize thermal stress.
