- Concrete, precast concrete, fiber-reinforced concrete, and cement boards
- Wood, metal, and aluminum
- Brick, ceramic, and marble
- Glass and galvanized steel sheets
- Plastic surfaces
Technical evaluation is recommended for other substrate types.
Surface Preparation
- Joints and application surfaces must be clean and dry.
- Oil, paint, dust, and other contaminants should be removed.
- Masking tape may be used to achieve neat and straight edges.
Application Conditions
- Application temperature: +5°C to +35°C
- Do not apply in extremely hot or highly humid conditions.
- Do not apply on frozen surfaces or surfaces at risk of freezing.
Application Instructions
- The product is supplied ready to use.
- Apply continuously with the cartridge nozzle positioned inside the joint.
- Apply in a single layer; do not apply multiple layers over each other.
- Remove trapped air bubbles while smoothing the surface.
- A damp tool may be used to achieve a smooth finish.
- Remove masking tape before the material dries.
- Tools can be cleaned with water. Dried residues may be removed with thinner if necessary.
Application Tools
Consumption
- Approximately 3 meters per cartridge (for a 1 × 1 cm joint)
Warnings and Recommendations
- Adheres to many surfaces without a primer; however, a preliminary adhesion test is recommended on difficult substrates.
- Joint width should be approximately twice the joint depth.
- The product is paintable, but paint may crack on moving joints.
- Not suitable for surfaces exposed to continuous water contact.
