Surface Preparation
- Joint surfaces must be dry, clean, and free from oil, cement residues, paint, dust, and adhesive contaminants.
- Non-porous surfaces such as glass and metal should be free from coatings and may be cleaned with cellulose thinner if necessary.
- Metal surfaces should be treated with an anti-corrosion primer when required.
- Masking tape may be used to achieve clean and precise joint lines.
Application Conditions
- Surface and ambient temperature: +5°C to +40°C
- Avoid application in excessively hot or highly humid conditions.
- Do not apply to frozen surfaces or surfaces at risk of freezing.
Application Method
- Apply the sealant so that it contacts both sides of the joint and the polyethylene backing rod.
- Cut the cartridge nozzle to the required size and apply continuously, keeping the nozzle within the joint.
- Apply in a single layer; do not apply multiple overlapping layers.
- Remove any trapped air bubbles.
- Tool the surface with soapy water if necessary.
- Remove masking tape before curing begins.
- The product will not cure in airtight environments.
- Clean tools immediately after use with acetone.

Warnings and Recommendations
- The product adheres to most smooth surfaces without primer; however, testing on absorbent, glossy, or painted surfaces is recommended before full application.
- Joint width should generally be approximately twice the joint depth.
- Not recommended for porous materials such as marble, natural stone, and concrete.
- During curing, acetic acid is released; therefore, it should not be used on copper, brass, lead, or mirror surfaces.
- The cured sealant is not paintable.
- Not suitable for aquarium applications.
