WEBERTEC SATEN – Fine Skim Coat
Webertec Saten is a cement-based, polymer-modified fine skim coat developed to create smooth surface finishes. It is ideal for repairing pores, hairline shrinkage cracks, small cavities, and surface imperfections on plastered surfaces, particularly in exterior applications as well as interior spaces.
According to the manufacturer’s technical datasheet, it can be applied in thicknesses ranging from 1–3 mm, with a maximum recommended thickness of 1.5 mm per coat. It creates a solid, smooth, and dust-free surface before painting or decorative coating applications.

Warnings and Recommendations
- Not suitable for repairing plaster defects deeper than 3 mm.

- The prepared mortar should be used within 4 hours.

- Mix with clean water.
- Use a hand mixer until a homogeneous, lump-free consistency is achieved.
Application
- Apply with a steel trowel at a thickness of 1–3 mm.
- Do not exceed 1.5 mm thickness in a single coat.
Waiting Time Between Coats
- Allow 2–3 hours between coats.
